When I started this blog, I spent a lot of time trying to decide what blogging software to use. I opted for Tumblr mainly because I found the social features appealing.
It has become clear to me, though, that it isn’t really the best option for me for two main reasons: it’s not great for long-form text, and the people (librarians, mostly) who I would want to use these social features (following, reblogging, etc.) aren’t using tumblr. And so, I defect to Wordpress.com. I hope you’ll come see me over there, at the new Too Many Acronyms. Most of the content from this site has been moved over there, and though the tumblr site will no longer be updated, it will remain here as is.
Love and Libraries,
